Rooms

General Bedroom Description

How many ways can you describe a comfortable bed? That is what we thought! Of course our main objective is to provide you with a comfortable room and a place to sleep during your visit. Each room or suite will also be equipped with satellite television. The rooms are painted in different tropical colors and the Caribbean atmosphere will be enhanced with live tropical plants in each room. Your privacy will not be interrupted by ringing phones. However, a public telephone will be available on the grounds should you need one. And in the lobby area, a phone line will be available for your Internet service needs.

The floor plan for Passion Fruit Bed & Breakfast has a unique layout and in the following we will point out some of those features. And below those features are listed the local Fajardeños after whom the rooms are named.

First Floor Rooms

On the first floor there are three two-bedroom suites that are ideal for travelers with children or a group of friends. These are secure rooms and close to the pool area. Sometimes there is no sibling rivalry between hermanos (brothers) and we can also learn a lot about career changes.

Los Hermanos Molina (Boxers)
Santiago Veve Calzada (Medical Doctor/Coffee Farmer)
Maria Isabel Dones (School Teacher)

First Floor Honeymoon Suite

This room is very private and very large. It is set away from the other three suites where you can be in a world of your own. There is also a private outside seating area where you can write your own romantic poetry.

Carmelina Vizcarrondo (Poet)

Second Floor Rooms

On the second floor, there are two VIP rooms. VIP Room #1 has a very nice bedroom with a cozy living room where you can relax before going to bed. The half-moon shaped shower is so large no curtain is needed. This room really needs examined to be appreciated. VIP Room #2 has a large bedroom and a very spacious bath. Even hermanas (sisters) could share this room if they are not too critical of each other’s history.

Antonia Coello de Novello (Surgeon General of United States)
Las Hermanas Baralt (Historians and Editors)

Third Floor Rooms

The three rooms on the south side of the building are large rooms and ideal for honeymoon suites. The distant ocean view is not the only reason to plan your own celebration here. The three rooms on the north side of the building are spacious in their own unique ways. The tropical view from these rooms is of La Roca, a famous mountain in Fajardo. Wouldn’t it be fun to sing a song about a basketball player eating a buñuelo while he was mimicking El Pitirre? That would be quite an act, especially when you learn the call of El Pitirre.

Carlos Arroyo (NBA Basketball Player)
Don Goyo (El Buñuelero - Pastry Entrepreneur)
Joaquín Mouliert (El Pitirre de Fajardo (Music Endemic to Puerto Rico)
Norma Candal (Comedian)
Maria Esther Robles (Singer & Voice Teacher)
Ivonne Coll (Actress)

Cabaña Suites

These two suites are set side from the main building. Each has a bedroom, living room and a private bath. Channel Four Newsflash: Guest at Passion Fruit Bed & Breakfast has become an overnight successful music composer.

Luis (Magüí) Mercado Calderón (Music Composer)
Pedro Rosa Nales (Newscaster)

The World In Which We Live

We at Passion Fruit Bed & Breakfast are environmentally conscious. In each room, we'll post ways to save energy. We would much rather invest in growing more Passion Fruit plants instead of wasting our valuable resources.
